The Warhorses Learn-To-Play (LTP) Hockey Program consists of two 5-week sessions which provide a foundation of skating and hockey skills for new players. Players and families can use this program to try hockey without committing to a full season on a team. After each session, players who want to continue playing are invited to join the Warhorses team for their age category for the remainder of the hockey season. The LTP session fee will be applied towards the team fee when the player decides to continue playing.
VERY basic skating ability is desired (the player should be able to get up on his/her own after falling down and be able to propel themselves forward...we will coach and develop skating skills from that point)
Full hockey gear is required and the Warhorses program has youth gear available to borrow on a first-come, first-served basis.
